How old is ‘too old’ to get married?

The society we live in is such that they believe a person can be only truly happy after he/she has entered the holy communion of matrimony. That anything against this norm is questionable. It is not that great a crisis for a man who remains unmarried (by choice or luck) for a long time, but a spinster woman who invites criticism or at best unsolicited advices. Perhaps this notion stems from the fact that as a woman climbs the ladder of age, her chances of conceiving become less, and in most cases complicated too. Dr Kavita Sama, MBBS, MS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) agrees, "Women who decide to have a child after the age of thirty five, face greater possibilities of congenital abnormalities. The Down syndrome is a common defect among children in such cases. With age, chances of an easy delivery become lesser and the choice remaining is a caesareandelivery that has its own recovery time."

Kareena, Emraan replaced by newcomers?

The Kareena Kapoor Khan-Emraan Hashmi film, tentatively titled Badtameez Dil, seems to be jinxed. Kareena left the project once and walked back into it months later.
Then, sources hinted that the real reason why this film never took off is because its producers — Ekta Kapoorand Karan Johar — seemed to have a difference of opinion.

One hears that both Ekta and Karan also felt the film was more suited for newcomers.

Of course, the friendship between Ekta and KJo seemed intact when the latter attended the former's Diwali card party on October 31.

Says the actress, marvelling at the cooking skills of kids on a TV show

While on the set of Junior MasterChef Swaad Ke Ustaad, Sonakshi Sinha was stunned at the young participants' cooking prowess. She said she was a foodie, but admitted she couldn't make anything beyond a cup of tea, something papa Shatrughan Sinha isn't too proud of.

"I am awe-struck at the flair displayed by these kids at such a young age. Not only are they talented but also their understanding of ingredients and the cooking techniques they have mastered, makes me wonder how they know so much at this young age," she said.
